Welcome to the Grove - May 26, 2005
Another Spirit-filled Grove has come and gone. If you are missing these gatherings, you are missing a chance to meet with the Living God. Russell Booth provided some excellent insight on the Enemy and his schemes. Beware! His crew rolls deep!
The Will Sledge band did a great job leading us in worship.
And, we had milkshakes!
Please pray for:
-- Blake Harrison on mission to Honduras next week
-- Stephen See on mission in Africa right now
Lake Party at Lake Jordan
This Sunday, May 29 (and Monday, May 30).
Meeting in Wetumpka at 1 p.m. on May 29 and car pool to the lake.
Cookout at 5:30 ish (we need a volunteer or two as grill master).
Inner Tubing, 2 boats, nice swimming area, rock jumping, rope swing nearby, water volleyball.
When the sun goes down, the party doesn’t stop. Karaoke for the brave at heart!
Stay the night if you like (camp out or in).
There’s nothing like Paw Paw’s breakfast on a crisp morning on the deck at the lake.
More water fun on Monday.
Please sign up in advance (sign up sheet at the door) so we can get food.
Bring your own beverages (no alcohol please).
