Week of October 25th

This week we truly learned from Linnie Dickson from Shepherd's Staff Ministries what true and undefiled religion (James 1:27) looks like in real life. He shared an amazing testimony of how God delivered him from decades of drug and alcohol abuse and how He is using Linnie and and his wife in ministring to broken families in some of the worst parts of our city. I sincerely hope we as a ministry can volunteer some time with this sometime soon.

Next week we are going to start a 4 week series on Dating and Courtship led by Andrew Hicks from Gateway Baptist Church. I've heard that Andrew is really going to hit this from the angle of how much we are submitted to the Lordship of Christ, but you'll have to come and check it out to see!
