Sunday Lunch

Hey Everyone! 
 
This Sunday afternoon (12/09) we would like to invite everyone to get together at 12:30 after church for lunch at Los Amigos ( on Vaughn Road between Ridgecrest Church and the Atlanta Highway...close to Office Depot).  This will give us some time to spend together before the holiday season gets busy and before we know it the New Year is here.  I encourage you to invite friends from your various churches and come out for a time of lunch and fellowship with each other!

In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."
 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."  "How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?" The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God."

 "I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her.

Tomorrow Night!

Hey everyone!  I just wanted to let you all know that a group of us are getting together tomorrow night at Shakespeare for a night of worship together as we begin the Christmas season and the year comes towards an end.  We will be meeting at 7:00pm in front of the Theater there at Shakespeare.  We would love for each of you to come out, join us, and bring your friends...be sure to bundle up the weather may be a little chilly!
 
If it is raining by any chance we will meet at Gateway Baptist Church at 7:00pm as our alternate location.
 
Look forward to seeing each of you again as we enter into the celebration season for the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ!

Grove Reminder and Upcoming Events

Free Concert - Tomorrow night at 8:30, Drew Holcomb will be in concert at Faulkner if anyone is wants to attend after we meet.

 

Game Night - It's been a while since we have all gotten together so....This Friday night we will be meeting at my (Brooke) house for game night from 7:30pm - 11:00pm or so.  Come bring a game (I have Monopoly, Scrabble, checkers, cards, and Uno) and/or a dessert for a night of fun and fellowship!  I live in Conventry towards the back of Wynlakes and behind East Chase.  My address is 7201 Heathermoore Loop / Montgomery, AL 36117.  Reply to this email if you have any questions or need further directions.

See You Tomorrow Night!

Hey Everyone! 

 

Just a reminder that we will be beginning back on a regular Tuesday night weekly schedule with the Grove starting tomorrow night. 

 

Gino will be continuing teaching on life's questions and answers over the next two weeks.  I think everyone there two weeks ago with Gino will agree it was a great time of learning about each other and God more while addressing the basic questions we all wonder about....so come out this week for more!

Grove Update

Hey Everyone!  Just a reminder we will not be having the Grove this Tuesday night, however starting next Tuesday we will start meeting every week at 7:00pm at Gateway for the fall schedule.  This next two weeks Gino will be finishing up his lesson from last week on "life's questions and answers" so be sure to join us!

 

Also as a fun reminder, this Thursday night the Symphony is playing their "Broadway Under the Stars" concert at Shakespeare.  I believe it starts around 6:30 and should be great with the new cooler weather we have been having.  We can all meet up there if anyone wants to go...last year several of us ran into each other there enjoying dinner outside and the music.

Grove - This Tuesday Night!

Hey everyone!  This is a reminder that we are having the Grove this Tuesday night, 7:00pm, at Gateway.  As we get back into the fall, I hope to see everyone there spending time with us getting to know God and each other better.
